Mexican activists have called on the government to end its cooperation agreements with Israel and safeguard the country's water resources. During a demonstration on Saturday, the protesters linked opposition to a water management agreement in the state of Chihuahua with protests against Israel's actions in Gaza. Civil organizations, environmentalists, and Palestine-solidarity collectives from at least 14 states of the country had called for a national march on 1 August to protest against the water cooperation agreement signed between the Central Water and Sanitation Board (JCAS) of Chihuahua and Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, according to Mexico Solidarity Media.
