Meredith Marks gets real about her facelift: ‘I never had any intention of hiding it’

The “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star, 54, got candid about her recent facelift in a Marie Claire interview published Thursday. “Honestly, I never had any intention of hiding it,” she said of the procedure, performed in February by Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Garo Kassabian. “I got to the point last year where everything on my face felt heavy — I wanted to lighten and brighten,” Marks explained. “I was itching to look like a more refreshed version of myself.” The “RHOSLC” star, pictured here in September 2025, trusted Beverly Hills surgeon Dr. Garo Kassabian with the procedure. Getty Images Before going under the knife, the 54-year-old mom of three told Marie Claire that everything on her face “felt heavy.” Getty Images Kassabian described the procedure as “a bespoke face and neck lift using a combination of endoscopic and deeper-plane techniques.” The Bravo personality was back on her DJ tour 10 days post-op, playing sets in Atlanta; Charleston, South Carolina; and Asbury Park, New Jersey, in late February. “I was so shocked by how speedy the recovery was,” she said. “I literally squeezed the facelift into the middle of my tour.” Around the same time, she sat down for a “RHOSLC” production meeting, fully expecting the team to clock her new look right away, but nobody batted an eye. “They had literally no idea; I had to spell it out for them,” she recalled. Cameras started rolling on Season 7 four weeks after her surgery, and Marks decided to be upfront about the procedure while filming. “If you wanna talk about it, you should talk about it. If you don’t wanna talk about it, it’s up to you,” she said. To prepare, Marks cut out alcohol and stuck to a healthy diet, a regimen she stuck to during recovery. Following the facelift, she added arnica for inflammation, red light therapy and copper peptides, which she previously told Page Six Style she takes every morning to support collagen production. The results have the mom of three feeling decades younger. “I really feel like I look exactly how I did 20 years ago,” she said. This isn’t the first time the jewelry designer has been candid about cosmetic surgery. Marks has undergone three breast reductions to address a “weird” condition that caused her breast tissue to grow uncontrollably. “I never wanted to be that big,” she said on Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast in 2024. Marks kicks off another tour Oct. 1 in Dublin, with stops across the UK, Canada and the US this winter. “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
