Instagram/msmelanielynksey “Hey! Sorry, but this insane number is floating around on the internet and I must tell you how wrong it is,” Lynskey, 49, began her lengthy reply. The Emmy nominee insisted she “made literally one tenth of that stated number per episode,” and noted that amount was decreased by “around 50%” due to “agents, managers, business managers’ cuts and taxes.” Lynskey insisted she “was extremely grateful” for the job which “allowed me to pay my small mortgage and pay bills and be able to work in indie movies and build a career.” “But there is this insane idea that I made millions of dollars and it’s so ridiculous,” Lynskey continued, adding, “If Holland’s talking about it, I’ll talk about it too.” Lynskey (seen here in the show with Charlie Sheen) said she “made literally one tenth of that stated number per episode.” ©CBS/Courtesy Everett Collection The actress said her salary was also decreased by “agents, managers, business managers’ cuts and taxes.” ©CBS/Courtesy Everett Collection In a second comment, Lynskey, who was 25 when she appeared on “Two and a Half Men,” said her pay from the show was “huge for me” at that time. “I always think in terms of how lucky I am compared to the vast majority of actors because it it so, so hard to make a living,” the “Yellowjackets” star explained. “I had struggled so much at that point so I was very grateful.” Lynskey said the sitcom “wasn’t my show” and “felt fine” with her salary, but admitted she gets “annoyed when it’s misreported.” Lynskey (pictured here with Sheen) insisted she “was extremely grateful” for the job which allowed her to pay for her small mortgage. In the clip from the “Alchemy with Anthony Mason” podcast, Taylor, 83, revealed that she let her “Two and a Half Men” contract expire because she never got a raise. “They usually do, just as a courtesy,” said Taylor. “I loved a lot about that show, but they were not full of courtesies.” Lynskey also showed support for Taylor, who vented about never getting a raise on the show. ©CBS/Courtesy Everett Collection Holland (pictured here on the sitcom) said the show was “not full of courtesies.” ©CBS/Courtesy Everett Collection Taylor, who scored four Emmy nominations for playing Evelyn Harper, also alleged that her on-screen son, Jon Cryer, “quadrupled his salary” when his contract was up, but she didn’t get the same treatment. “Two and a Half Men” aired on CBS for 12 seasons from 2003 to 2015. Sheen, 61, was famously replaced by Ashton Kutcher before Season 9 due to his erratic behavior. Community Guidelines Welcome to the Page Six Community!
