If the songstress and her actor husband, Daryl Sabara, pass the torch to another notable name, it would continue the estate’s ongoing chain of celebrity stewards. Trainor bought the house from DJ Zedd in 2024 for about $17 million; Zedd had paid $15.2 million in 2021 when he bought it from Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner, who were the first to move into the six-bedroom, 12-bathroom manse when it was completed in 2019. They scooped it up for $14.1 million. To put it simply: The property has never been owned by someone without a Wikipedia page. As its listing description reads: “This compound is for the most discerning Buyer.” Unsurprisingly, the home hosts a swath of amenities that are as elite as its residents.Tucked behind tall gates and hedges, the contemporary-style build, designed by Jae Omar, spans nearly 15,000 square feet. The dwelling’s main floor hosts a great room with two fireplaces, wall-to-wall pocket doors that open to the backyard, and a library nook. The eat-in kitchen is complete with a built-in bar and a sprawling center island with a live-edge wooden breakfast bar seating seven. An additional catering kitchen, an office, and an impressive playroom outfitted with a climbing wall, a slide, and a foam pit round out the main level, along with a fitness and wellness center and “perhaps the best-sounding studio in the world,” according to Zedd, who added that amenity during his ownership.Five ensuite bedrooms are situated upstairs, as well as another fireplace-warmed living area. The primary suite boasts yet another fireplace, a wet bar, a bathroom, two spacious dressing rooms, and walls that slide open to a sizable balcony. Outdoor amenities include a pool and spa, a kitchen, a putting green, a projection screen, and a fire pit. A guesthouse with a billiards pub and a movie theater round out the compound.
