Meet glamorous former fishmonger Chantalle Schilder who is engaged to Champions League defender

FROM fishmonger to professional football wag, Chantalle Schilder has had quite the journey. The blonde beauty is engaged to Borussia Dortmund star Joey Veerman. The second, Jame, was born in May 2025. Schilder and Veerman both come from Dutch town Volendam, which is famous for its fishing. It makes Schilder’s employment as a fishmonger slightly more understandable. Schilder’s husband-to-be Veerman made the big move to Dortmund this summer from Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven. The Germans triggered his £17.1million release clause in August.
