Kate Cross (cricket) The daughter of former West Ham and Manchester City striker David Cross is a prominent figure in women’s cricket. She helped England to a 2014 Ashes triumph in Australia and has captained the country’s ODI team. A long-serving star for Lancashire, Cross’ legacy in cricket may even have surpassed her dad’s in football, despite David racking up 224 goals in 599 games during a long and successful career. George Mills (running) The Harrogate-born athlete had a tough act to follow, with dad Danny Mills starring for England and in the Premier League. But he has become an elite international runner, winning a 5000m silver medal at the 2024 European Championships in Rome and a 3000m silver at the European Indoors the following year. The real feather in Mills’ cap, however, is Team GB‘s 5000m national record.
