A day after his wedding, a newlywed man was found hanging from a tree in an orchard near his village, leaving his family in shock.The man, identified as Yunus, had got married on Tuesday, with his wedding procession travelling to a village in Meerut.After the ceremony, he returned home, where the family celebrated with fireworks before he went to his room with his newlywed wife.According to his family, everything appeared normal that night. The next morning, however, Yunus left home and headed towards an orchard, where he was later found hanging from a tree with a rope.A farmer later spotted the body in the fields and alerted villagers, following which Yunus’s relatives rushed to the spot, while Kharkhoda police also reached the orchard and brought the body down from the tree. The reason behind Yunus’s death remains unclear.As police began to prepare to send the body for a post-mortem examination, Yunus’s family intervened and refused, saying they did not want the examination or any legal action.- Ends
