I TRY new brands daily as a beauty writer, and Medik8 is one that never fails me. Its science-backed formulas have genuinely transformed my skin, so when there’s a rare discount on the premium products, I’m making the most of it. My fine lines improved after a month of using Medik8’s Liquid Peptides serum Medik8 Liquid Peptides Advanced MP, £63.20 (was £79) I was toying with the idea of getting Botox last year after noticing more fine lines on my forehead. Sign up for the Fabulous newsletter Thank you! Around the same time, I started using Medik8’s Liquid Peptides Advanced Serum, and I haven’t considered injectables since. Medik8 just kicked off its sale, cutting 20% off its bestsellers for one week only. My beloved peptide serum has been reduced (and you can read my full Medik8 Liquid Peptides review), but it’s not the only product I swear by. These are the products I believe are truly worth splashing out on… Medik8 Hydr8 B5 Intense The B5 Intense serum is ultra-hydrating Medik8 Hydr8 B5 Intense, £48 (was £60) Most read in Fabulous What is it? I’d recommend Medik8’s Hydr8 B5 Intense to anyone wanting a brighter-looking complexion. It’s one of the few hyaluronic acids I’ve used that doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky, and instead gives a plump, glowy finish. Why I love it: My skin becomes dehydrated easily (read my roundup of the best moisturisers for dry skin), and this serum is the first product I turn to for intense hydration. Medik8 Crystal Retinal Vitamin A Night Serum Crystal Retinal is the brand’s best-loved product Medik8 Crystal Retinal Vitamin A Night Serum 6, £55.20 (was £69) What is it? The serum is an innovation in the skincare world, using retinal (faster-acting than retinol) to help with fine lines and wrinkles. Why I love it: If I had to attribute one product to the transformation of my skin, it would Medik8’s Crystal Retinal. I’ve been using it for a couple of years now, and while it doesn’t come cheap, it’s worth every penny. Advanced Night Restore Rejuvenating Multi-Ceramide Night Cream The hydrating face cream is great for mature skin Advanced Night Restore Rejuvenating Multi-Ceramide Night Cream, £48 (was £60) What is it? Medik8’s Advanced Night Restore Cream has a rating of 4.9-out-of-5 stars online, and I can see why. Designed to support the effects of Vitamin A (so it’s the perfect pairing with Crystal Retinal), it works to smooth and firm the skin. Why I love it: Not only does it smell amazing, but its silky texture feels so luxurious on the skin. Medik8’s 20% off sale doesn’t come around often (and it’s running for one week only), so I’d recommend acting fast if there’s a product on your wishlist. Don't miss out...
