While the search for Emma appears to be over, the actor to take on the role of Scott Summers remains shrouded in mystery. Several actors have been linked to the part, but no official announcement has been made by Marvel Studios. Cooper Hoffman and Drew Starkey have been at the center of these rumors of Cyclops, with one report going so far as to claim that the former's casting has been finalized. And while it seemed convincing enough to most fans that Hoffman would be the correct choice for the MCU's new Cyclops, those who were excited had their hopes crushed by the actor himself.
