Liv McGill had 22 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds, Me’Arah O’Neal also scored 22, and No. 12 seed Florida beat Mississippi State 86-68 — the Gators' largest margin of victory in an SEC Tournament game — on Wednesday in the first round. Florida (18-14), which never trailed despite starting 5-of-16 shooting, made 28 of 56 from the field and hit 22 of 28 (79%) from the free-throw line. No. 13 seed Mississippi State (18-13) has lost five in a row.
