The World Heist is back! (Picture: McDonald’s UK) Last year McDonald’s launched its first-ever World Heist, bringing burgers, sides, and drinks from other countries to the UK. If you’ve been wishing they’d bring it back, then you’re in luck, as the fast food chain has just confirmed the heist is on once again. Inspired by the idea that a Maccies abroad hits different, the World Heist 2.0 menu will see items from Germany, Canada, India, Australia, China, and the Netherlands available across the UK and Ireland for a limited time. And for this year, there are going to be brand new breakfast items too! What’s going to be on the World Heist 2.0 menu in 2026? Chicken for breakfast? (Picture: McDonald’s UK) For 2026, the chain is introducing a Dawn Raid, which will see two new breakfast items launching from September 22, both coming to the UK from Australia. These see chicken added to the breakfast menu here for the first time, with a Chicken & Egg McMuffin and a Chicken & Bacon McMuffin. These feature chicken in a crispy coating, egg, cool mayo, and a cheese slice inside a toasted English muffin, with the latter adding bacon too. The new Big Rösti from Germany(Picture: McDonald’s) Next up, there’s the Big Rösti from Germany, which will be available until October 19. The burger features a beef patty, layered with crispy potato rösti, streaky bacon, a cheese slice, creamy baconnaise, and a cheese sauce. This is all served in a toasted and glazed sesame-topped bun. A Canadian favourite is joining the line-up (Picture: McDonald’s) Also joining the line-up between September 22 and October 19 is the Maple & Cheddar Chicken from Canada, which contains a chicken breast fillet in a crispy coating topped with cheddar cheese, onions two ways, lettuce, and tomato. The whole thing is finished with a mustard maple sauce and citrus mayo and served in a toasted poppy and sesame seed bun. ‘The twist of sweet and savoury maple gives the burger an unapologetically Canadian hit of flavour in every bite,’ the chain claims. Mac & Cheese Triangles proved very popular in 2025 (Picture: McDonald’s UK) When it comes to sides, Mac & Cheese Triangles from the UAE are back from September 22 to November 16. The crispy triangles of macaroni pasta with a cheddar cheese sauce featured in the World Heist in 2025 and proved insanely popular. They’re served with a classic tomato dip and are described as a ‘serious’ comfort food. There are more McShaker Fries; these have a paprika seasoning (Picture: McDonald’s UK) Fries are also getting a makeover, with Paprika McShaker Fries from the Netherlands on the menu. Customers can buy them between September 22 and November 16, and they’ll feature a smoky paprika seasoning sachet and a shaker bag. You simply pour the seasoning over the fries in the bag, shake it up, and enjoy. And those who love a dip will also be able to get their hands on a Szechuan Sauce from China, which is a ‘sweet and savoury Asian-inspired sauce’ with a mild Szechuan pepper heat. A new sweet treat from Canada joins World Heist 2.0 (Picture: McDonald’s UK) Rounding out the World Heist Menu is a sweet dessert that’s ideal for chocolate lovers – a S’mores McFlurry from Canada. Soft dairy ice cream is swirled with marshmallows and a biscuit crumb before being topped with chocolate sauce. Both the sauce and McFlurry will be available from September 22 to November 19. McDonald’s hasn’t forgotten about drinks either. You can wash all of the above down with a tropical Guava x Sprite Zero from India, which combines Sprite Zero with a guava-flavoured syrup, served over ice. There’s a tropical guava drink and a Szechuan sauce too (Picture: McDonald’s UK) In other fast food news, a famous dessert chain from the US has confirmed it’s opening its first store in the UK.
