MCDONALD’S has revealed six new menu items landing in the UK next week – featuring a US fan favourite. The fast-food chain is also rolling out a new McFlurry and bringing back a beloved chicken nugget flavour. Rolling out on August 25, customers will see items based on Halo: Campaign Evolved, Fallout 76, Forza Horizon 6, Overwatch, World of Warcraft and Candy Crush as part of the menu overhaul. Drawing inspiration from the moa bird found within the Halo universe, Black Pepper and Garlic nuggets will be landing on the menu. After making their debut in McDonald’s Japan, the flavour-packed chicken snacks made a brief appearance on the UK menu during the fast-food chain’s “World Menu Heist” in October 2025. A viral US dip will make its UK debut next week after fans launched petitions to bring the sauce from the States. The new Fiery Buffalo dip makes the ideal accompaniment to your next box of chicken selects and takes inspiration from the popular World of Warcraft. Most read in Money Maccies lovers can swap out the trusty French fries for a new carby side next week with the arrival of the new Blamco Cheesy Potato Bites – golden, crispy potato rings with a gooey melted cheese core. The Sour Cherry Fizz is perfect to wash it all down with, made up of Sprite Zero with a sugar-free sour cherry flavoured syrup – mirroring the cherry blossom world of Forza Horizon 6. For a sweet sign off, the fast-food giant is serving up a Candy Crush Choco McFlurry, featuring classic vanilla ice cream, swirled with chocolate covered biscuits and chocolate sauce. The Sugar Donut is also in for a makeover, with the sweet treat appearing in limited-time packaging in a tribute to Kiriko’s favourite snack in Overwatch. The event extends to the McDonald’s App, with customers able to use their Reward points to unlock exclusive in-game items on the participating titles. Comment now
