MCC steps up public outreach for SIR form collection

Sriram The Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) has intensified its public awareness campaign for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls, urging residents to submit their duly filled SIR forms to Booth Level Officers (BLOs).As part of the campaign, the civic body has deployed public announcement vehicles across various localities to inform citizens that SIR forms have been distributed to every household and to remind them to hand over the completed forms during the BLOs’ collection visits.To monitor the progress of the exercise, MCC Commissioner M. K. Savita conducted field inspections in several residential areas on Sunday. During the visit, the Commissioner interacted with residents to verify the distribution and collection of SIR forms, sought public feedback, and addressed queries related to the revision process.The Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) for the Krishnaraja Assembly constituency and Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs) accompanied the Commissioner during the inspection and reviewed the implementation of the campaign.The Mysuru City Corporation has appealed to citizens to accurately fill the SIR forms and submit them to the BLOs without delay to facilitate the timely revision of the electoral rolls.
