The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has withdrawn its August 3 NEET-SS 2025 Round 2 counselling notification after a Delhi High Court order, reopening registration from August 9 and keeping the resignation portal open until August 7, 4 pm.NEET SS round 2 registration 2025: MCC reopen portal after Delhi HC order (representative image)The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) under the Union Health Ministry has withdrawn its August 3 notification on the second round of NEET Super Speciality (NEET-SS) 2025 counselling following a Delhi High Court order allowing petitioner candidates to re-register and participate in the counselling process.In an official notice, the MCC said the decision was taken in light of the Delhi High Court's August 5 order in Writ Petition (Civil) No. 11097/2026, Sunil and Another vs Medical Counselling Committee."The court has, in its direction, allowed the petitioner candidates to re-register and participate in Round 2 of the NEET-SS 2025 counselling," the notice stated.MCC WITHDRAWS AUGUST 3 NOTIFICATIONThe committee said that, keeping in view the observations and concerns expressed by the court, the competent authority had decided to withdraw the notification issued on August 3 with immediate effect. Following the court's directions, the MCC has also announced a revised schedule for the second round of counselling.REVISED COUNSELLING SCHEDULE ANNOUNCEDAs per the revised schedule, the resignation portal will remain open for all candidates until 4 pm on August 7.
