A MASTERCHEF winner has opened a brand new restaurant in a major UK city – and it’s right next to a Premier League stadium. A half price offering will also be introduced for the next three days to celebrate the launch. Located in Medlock Square, in the heart of the Etihad Campus, the restaurant aims to “showcase the freshest local produce and the finest British ingredients at their peak”. Designed around the 12 full moons, the menu changes based on the “passing of time and the changing seasons”. As a result, head chef Iain Thomas has created this month’s offering around the upcoming Harvest moon, featuring Trout Pastrami, Cornish Turbot and Sirloin Steak – with sides of Hispi Cabbage and Pickled Fennel. The 105-cover venue will open from Wednesday to Sunday between 12pm to 3.30pm for lunchtime service.
