A HUGE inferno has ripped through a historic mill used for filming scenes in Peaky Blinders and Downton Abbey. It has suffered a string of major fires over the years, the first erupting in 2011. Another blaze broke out in March 2022, when more than 100 firefighters and 20 fire engines tackled the inferno. Another fire devasted the mill in July 2025, with 12 fire engines sent to the scene.
