Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls Datamine Hints At DLC Fighters

Marvel Tokon Datamining Hints At Gambit, Doctor Strange, And Fantastic Four DLC Fighters Published Aug 12, 2026, 11:42 AM EDT George is the Lead News Editor for TheGamer, and has been working in the industry since 2021 after graduating from the University of South Wales with a bachelor's degree in Journalism. Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls dataminers have managed to find evidence that Gambit, The Fantastic Four, and more are being considered as DLC fighters. Considering how popular and far-reaching Marvel is, it was no surprise when PlayStation and Arc System Works confirmed that Marvel Tokon was planned to run for at least a decade with post-launch content. In fact, before the game even launched, we knew that Phoenix Cyclops was coming as the first of four DLC fighters in year one. Phoenix Cyclops is an amazing start to the DLC lineup, but that still leaves three characters we know nothing about, and potentially even more in the game’s future years of DLC. Well, we might have just got a good idea of who some of the other characters are planned to be, as dataminers have found some solid evidence in the game’s files. Cyclops Might Not Be The Only X-Men Member To Join Marvel Tokon’s DLC The Fantastic Four Are Also Clearly Being Set Up As pointed out by Twitter user and reliable dataminer X0X_LEAK, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls datamining has already kicked off, leaving us with a decent idea of who might be joining the game. That includes Gambit, Wasp, Doctor Strange, The Thing, and Daredevil, who would all be great additions to the roster. All of the characters mentioned have references in the game’s files, including some dialogue strings that directly relate to them. The Thing is perhaps the most interesting character of the bunch, as other members of The Fantastic Four are also in Marvel Tokon’s code and seem likely to follow Ben Grimm. If Gambit actually is added to Marvel Tokon, it would mean that the X-Mansion stage inclusions aren’t a definite deconfirmation of potential characters. That being said, there is one very notable missing character from the DLC lineup - Thor. Everyone’s favourite Asgardian is mentioned throughout Marvel Tokon’s story mode and seemed to be a prime candidate for the first year of DLC, but is nowhere to be seen here. It’s possible he’s coming later, but right now there’s no sign of him.
