In recent years, those MCU TV shows went from limited series to multi-season projects, with multiple live-action series, like Daredevil: Born Again and Loki, earning renewals. That was the case for Wonder Man, which debuted on Disney+ on January 27 to great success. However, it seems like Marvel has changed its plans for the MCU's slate of releases. According to a new report from Variety, Wonder Man has been canceled, with Marvel reversing its season 2 renewal. Wonder Man had been initially renewed for season 2 in March, after all eight episodes of season 1 had been released two months prior. The report does not state why Marvel decided to cancel the superhero comedy, though it notes that Wonder Man only charted on Nielsen's streaming charts for a single week, the show's release week.
