The agreement builds on the existing framework for jointly pursuing and executing infrastructure projects within the community and the Marten Falls First Nation Traditional Territory, while creating employment, training and contracting opportunities for community members and businesses.The Marten Falls Community Access Road will connect Marten Falls First Nation to Ontario’s provincial highway network for the first time, providing reliable year-round access to health care, education, essential services, and economic opportunities.
