The Packers offense took a quarter to get going, but they started the second quarter off on the right foot. After going three-and-out three times to start the game, the Packers cruised 64 yards in nine plays to open the scoring at MetLife Stadium. Jordan Love flicked a screen to running back MarShawn Lloyd and the running back sprinted six yards for a touchdown. It was the first NFL touchdown of Lloyd’s career and the Packers lead 7-0 with 9:35 left to play in the first half. Love hit Christian Watson twice for 33 yards on the way to the end zone and the Packers appear to have found some offensive footing after losing a pair of starters to injuries on the opening drive of the game.
