MARKS AND SPENCER has revealed a first-of-its- kind store opening inside Britain’s biggest airport today. Its branch at Heathrow Airport, Terminal 5, is now double the size of its pilot branch which opened in July of last year. The new store also offers biscuit tins and British souvenirs, making it the perfect place to grab a last minute gift. The high street stalwart already has seven branches across popular UK airports, including Luton and Manchester. But this store allows flyers to get their hands on its products after passing through security and waiting to board the plane. The chain has also opened two new city centre full-line stores at Bath Southgate store this February and at Bristol’s Cabot Circus last November. M&S Food branches in Hatfield, Luton, Farnham and Oxfordshire have all recently opened their doors. And the chain is about to give a branch in Clapham Junction a makeover, as it prepares to cuntil September 2.
