Mark Zuckerberg fails to split the G as he has hilarious reaction to pint of Guinness Lizzie McAllister | Deputy News Editor Published October 13, 2026 12:49pm Updated October 13, 2026 12:49pm To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video This is the moment Mark Zuckerberg tried Guinness, apparently for the first time – and clearly wasn’t impressed. The Facebook mogul, 42, didn’t come close to splitting the G as he sampled the classic Irish tipple during an appearance on John Collison’s Cheeky Pint podcast. In a video of the podcast, Zuckerberg can be seen sitting next to his chief of AI, Alexander Wang, as the latter tells Collison about Meta’s newest AI model, Muse Wonder. Zuckerberg is quiet in the brief clip and, at one point, takes a very small sip of the black stuff before pulling a disgusted face. He quickly sets the pint down and pushes it away as he balks at the drink. He then looks up at the ceiling and back at his companion before swilling the drink around his mouth. The clip was posted across social media – including on Facebook’s rival platforms, X and Reddit – and has now gone viral. Zuckerberg made headlines after he announced his company’s new bot would be at the ‘frontier’ of the AI race. He claimed Muse Wonder is as powerful as the latest technology from OpenAI – the brand behind the popular chatbot ChatGPT – and Anthropic, the company that developed Claude. The brand will also roll out Muse Wonder Full, which is the ‘largest and most capable model we have trained’, according to Meta. The tech boss said the bots would ‘allow much more sophisticated behaviors that are at the frontier of what is being done in the AI field’. It comes after Meta’s competitor, Anthropic, admitted its technology had been used to create missiles used by militants who recently carried out a major attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The attack over the weekend by Houthis killed more than a dozen people and wounded hundreds. The company has since published a report admitting that the Houthis had launched three weapons programmes using Claude AI amid growing fears artificial intelligence could bring about human extinction, though it was unclear whether these weapons had been used in any actual attacks. The technology provided homing guidance, allowing the missiles to reroute themselves if they missed targets. The Houthis used Claude Code to help develop technology used to guide, control, and navigate the weapons. Anthropic was able to block most of the AI requests, but not all of them. The report said: ‘Threat actors based in northern Yemen [were] running three weapons development programmes: a guided rocket that used a commodity, phone-class flight computer with final phase homing guidance, a multi-stage ballistic missile with a stated range goal of more than 1,500 miles and a multi-variant missile, referred to as the R2000, that included a hypersonic glide vehicle variant.’ Arrow MORE: Epic Games to make first big budget AI-only game with new Disney shooter Arrow MORE: Games Inbox: What is the next FromSoftware game?
