See more Daily Mail on Google - save us as a Preferred Source Published: 11:25 EDT, 24 September 2026 | Updated: 11:31 EDT, 24 September 2026 Marcus Rashford has joined an appeal to help find a missing 'family friend' after he disappeared in Colombia.Anton Green, 43, was reported missing after his loved ones went weeks without hearing from him, in a silence they say is deeply out of character.The Manchester-born Brit is the brother of former Manchester United youth team defender Ro-shaun Williams.Rashford described Anton as a 'family friend' as he shared an appeal for information on social media.Anton, originally from Whalley Range, has been living in Colombia for the past three years.Fluent in Spanish, he reportedly settled near the capital Bogotá after falling in love with the country's culture following travels around Europe and South America. His worried family in the UK say they have not heard from him since August 5.His sister Sian Tuohey, 40, said Anton had experienced mental health difficulties around the same time last year. Pictured: Pictured: Anton Green whilst in Colombia Rashford (pictured) described Anton as a 'family friend' as he shared an appeal for information on social mediaThe family believe he had been staying around the Fontibón and Mesitas del Colegio areas before he disappeared.Sian also said her brother may have been planning to travel to neighbouring Ecuador.Anton is described as dark-skinned, around 5ft 6in tall and with short afro hair.His sister has shared an online appeal urging expats and locals to come forward with any information about his whereabouts.Sian said: 'My brother Anton has been missing in Colombia for the last 6 weeks.'He has been living there since 2023, but he has made no contact with the family now since August 5th.'Please share, as the police are keen for any information from anyone who may have spoken to him prior to him going missing.'A spokesperson for the Foreign Commonwealth Development Office said: 'We are supporting the family of a British man reported missing in Colombia and are in touch with local authorities.'
