Heavy downpours are forecast across some major cities tonight between 7pm and 10am tomorrow, offering the first significant rainfall in weeks for some locations. Currently, nearly-three quarters of England and all of Wales are in drought conditions as a result of the prolonged dry conditions, with 45million Brits set to be affected.
