Some continued working around them, while a truck loaded with more colourful fabrics, including red and green ones, stood nearby on the dirt road. The entire scene unfolded against a lush, hilly landscape, with dense greenery surrounding the winding road and the makeshift washing area.The carpets were being washed following the month-long Beivoli festival held in Liyai village. Rather than relying on individual effort, the youths had gathered together to take on the sizeable task, with their collective strength making it possible to handle the heavy, water-soaked fabrics.
