Maniac boss of Scots mob war firebomb crew unmasked for first time after gangland gun rap

THE self-styled leader of a gang war firebomb crew filmed torching a home on the orders of Dubai mobsters can today be unmasked — after being nailed over an underworld shooting. And Young, pictured posing with a cigar, was yesterday hauled back to the dock where five years was added to his stretch over the gun offence. The High Court in Glasgow heard the Glock, three bullets and casings were found under a sofa at a property searched by cops in April last year. Forensic analysis showed a match for casings recovered from where it had been fired by Nicky Robertson, 39, in Niddrie, Edinburgh. Robertson — who was caged for nine years in January — had stashed the pistol in nearby South Queensferry. Mr Keenan told the court: “An image sent to a phone recovered from Kurtis Young had the text ‘Tool Bro’.” CCTV later captured Young travelling by car to collect it. He added: “In messages…he makes reference to his involvement in organised crime referring to himself as being ‘wanted as the leader of the Edinburgh gang as I’m the one in contact with the guys in Dubai and Brazil’.”
