Dan Gore is the latest player facing a permanent exit from Old Trafford, alongside Harry Amass and Toby Collyer. Sign up for the Man United newsletter Thank you! Like Collyer, Gore was left out of the squad that travelled to Stockholm for the 2-1 pre-season friendly win over Atletico Madrid. The midfielder instead captained United’s Under-21s in their 1-0 defeat to non-league Altrincham Town on Friday night. Left-back Amass, 19, is set to be sold for around £6million this summer, with several Championship sides interested. A new loan is unlikely as United have allowed the clock to run down on Amass’ contract, which was signed in 2023 and expires next summer. Gore, 21, had two individually successful loan stints with Rotherham United, but the club were relegated from League One at the end of the season. His only senior appearance for United was against Crystal Palace in the League Cup in September 2023. Midfielder Jacob Devaney is another who could go out this summer but United are looking at a loan move for him. Striker Chido Obi also has an uncertain future. Obi is open to a loan, but United will only sanction a move that guarantees him regular playing time. New midfielder Cristian Orozco, 18, is likely to stay in-house while he is assessed, gets used to the UK and takes English lessons. Meanwhile, goalkeeper Radek Vitek is set to become the club’s third sale of the summer after United agreed an up-front £7m fee with Middlesbrough, in a package that could rise to £14m in add-ons related to appearances. Vitek is the latest to depart, following Rasmus Hojlund and Tyler Fredricson, who moved to Napoli and Lausanne-Sport, respectively. Meanwhile, Lacey will look to build on last season’s first-team breakthrough alongside the Fletcher twins, while Gabriel is closing in on his senior debut.
