MANCHESTER UNITED fans were forced to change their travel plans after learning that trains back to Manchester from Hull had been cancelled. And things went from bad to worse for the travelling Old Trafford faithful in the 73rd minute when Hull’s stadium announcer took to the tannoy to reveal the cancellation of the trains back to Manchester. He said: “The 15:03 and 16:03 services towards Manchester have been cancelled. “Passengers affected by these cancellations should check the latest service information.” The home supporters sarcastically cheered the announcement, which left many of the Red Devils supporters who made the near 100-mile journey contemplating how they’ll get home. And several of them began chanting to their counterparts: “You’re going home in a taxi.” Social media was abuzz with fans mocking United fans’ travel misery.
