According to The Athletic, the full-back flew out of Spain and returned to Tyneside to train alone due to a minor injury. And some eagle-eyed Man Utd supporters noticed how similar this development is to Alexander Isak just before he left the Magpies last summer. Reports suggested Isak, 26, trained alone at Newcastle due to a knock prior to his Premier League record £130million move to Liverpool in September. And a few United fans are hopeful the scenario will play out again, with Hall doing the same and moving to Manchester. One supporter tweeted: “Don’t give me hope.” Another commented: “I really hope this one isn’t dead yet.” Most read in Football CASINO SPECIAL – BEST CASINO BONUSES FROM £10 DEPOSITS A third wrote: “Given me such hope.” One fan added: “Welcome to Man Utd Lewis Hall.” While another said: “So you’re telling me there’s a chance…?” But it will be difficult for United to convince Newcastle to part ways with another big name.
