Man shot dead outside property in Melbourne's north

Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a man who was shot dead in Melbourne's north last night.Emergency services were called to Victoria Drive in Thomastown after reports a man had been shot outside a property about 7:30pm.Despite efforts to revive the man, he died at the scene.Victoria Police said no arrests had been made and the man was yet to be formally identified.Police urged anyone with information or footage of the incident to contact CrimeStoppers on 1800 333 000.
