Man seriusly injured in Haifa crime-related stabbing as police search for suspect

NOVEMBER 6, 2026 22:36A 50-year-old man was seriously wounded in a stabbing on Independence Road in Haifa on Friday, police and emergency services reported.Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics evacuated the victim to Rambam Medical Center in Haifa in serious condition.Police said officers from the Haifa Police Station launched an investigation after receiving a report of a man injured in a violent incident in the city.According to the Israel Police Spokesperson's Unit, officers who arrived at the scene began collecting evidence and carrying out investigative procedures, during which a suspect believed to be involved in the stabbing was arrested at the scene.Police believe the incident was criminal in nature.
