A MAN has been seriously injured and two others hurt after a “large” city centre brawl involving a “bladed article”. Cops have arrested two men following the violent clash, which saw armed cops swarm to the scene. Police confirmed that two men, both in their 20s, have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. The force said those involved are believed to have known each other. A number of witnesses told CornwallLive there was an extremely large police and ambulance presence in the area. One person said: “[The road is] all cordoned off around Burger King, around 30 coppers, 12 police cars”. A force spokesperson said there was “no wider threat to the public”.
