In a statement on Friday, the Angeles City Police Office identified the suspect only as a 42-year-old man who was arrested following a hot pursuit operation. Police said the incident occurred at around 2 p.m. on July 14, when the victim arrived in her sport utility vehicle outside Angeles Elementary School in Barangay Pulung Bulu to fetch her nephew, a student of the school. The suspect then allegedly took control of the vehicle and drove toward Tarlac province. Upon reaching Gerona, Tarlac, he reportedly stopped the vehicle and ordered the victim to get out.
