Prosecutor Philip McGhee said the allegations involve a “murderous attack” and a knife in a “domestic setting”. The court heard Keeley had been upstairs at the family home when she heard her mother scream and went downstairs. When she tried to stop the defendant, he stabbed her first to the abdomen and then to her back, it was said. She called 999 at 8.19am to report that her mum had been stabbed, saying: “Hurry up man, he’s going to kill her.” Her mother was found lying in a pool of blood on the kitchen floor with with multiple stab wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene at 8.54am. Most read in The Sun Dore, who had been in a relationship with Samantha for about a year and lived nearby, was arrested in a bedroom of the property, Mr McGhee said. A post-mortem found around 70 sharp force injuries to the grandmother’s body, which were allegedly inflicted with “severe force”. Keeley remains in hospital although her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, it is understood. Dore appeared in court by video-link from Wandsworth prison and spoke to confirm his identity. Judge Simon Mayo KC set a timetable for the case with a plea hearing on November 9 and a provisional three-week trial from May 17 next year. Dore, also of Askew Road, was remanded into custody.
