(Screengrab)A man was allegedly shot dead by his friend following a money dispute in Bihar's Saharsa district. His body was found inside his house two days after the murder.The victim has been identified as Abhijeet Singh Rajput. According to Abhijeet's friend Ashish, a man identified as Aryan called him and the victim's younger brother to inform them about the incident. When Ashish reached Abhijeet's house, the main gate was open but the door to the veranda was locked.Ashish said he looked through a window and realised that Abhijeet was lying dead inside. He then informed the police.Police reached the spot and broke the lock. Officers found Abhijeet's body inside the house, covered with a pillow. Police suspect that the accused fled through the rear door after the killing. Ashish alleged that Aryan killed Abhijeet over a money-related dispute.Sadar SDPO Pankaj Kumar Singh said the preliminary investigation indicated that it was a murder and that the victim had been shot dead. The body was recovered from inside the house and sent to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
