Man in his 30s left fighting for his life in hospital after serious street assault in London as cops issue urgent appeal

NewsUK News A MAN has been left fighting for his life after a “serious” assault in north London as police issue an urgent appeal. Cops were called to a street in Stratford following reports of an attack at around 9pm. An emergency response team showed up at Penny Brookes Street where they found the man, in his 30s, in critical condition. The individual was taken to hospital where he remains in life-threatening condition. Sign up for The Sun newsletter Thank you! It is believed the suspects fled the scene prior to cops arriving. No arrests have been made at this point, and police enquiries are ongoing. Detective Sergeant Justina Rackauskaite said: “A man remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries following this assault, and our investigation is progressing at pace to establish the circumstances leading up to this incident. “We have conducted a range of enquiries and are now appealing for the public’s help. “We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who was in the Penny Brookes Street area that evening and may have seen something. “I would also urge anyone with CCTV, doorbell camera or dashcam footage that could assist our enquiries, to contact us.” Most read in The Sun Anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting CAD 3842/28AUG or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
