Man in his 20s dies in crash involving a tractor and trailer on Cornish road

Police and emergency services rushed to the scene - an unclassified road close to St Ewe, near St Austell - at around 10pm on Friday, September 11, following reports of a collision. Despite the efforts of medics, a local man in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene. His family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers. Control of the road, which remains closed at this time, has been passed to highways as investigations remain underway. The vehicle involved in the collision has also been recovered.Devon and Cornwall Police have thanked the public for their 'patience' while the road remains closed and an examination of the scene is carried out.
