Man in his 20s dies after plunging from car park as police cordon off town centre

A MAN in his 20s has died after falling from a car park in a busy town centre. Emergency services rushed to the car park on Queensway in Halesowen, Dudley just after 6am. The man was declared dead at the scene and his death is not being treated as suspicious. Several roads in Halesowen town centre were for a police investigation for the second time in two days. A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “We were called to Queensway, Halesowen, shortly after 6.10am this morning to reports a man had fallen from a car park. “A man in his 20s was sadly confirmed dead at the scene. “Our thoughts are with the man’s family and everyone who knew him. “His death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.” High Street remained cordoned off from New Road junction to Queensway near Asda.
