However, his identity and nationality are yet to be officially confirmed.The body has been sent to the mortuary at Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College for a post-mortem examination. Police said the exact cause of death will be established after the report is received. The circumstances in which the body was found have raised suspicions of foul play. The man had been stuffed inside a sack that was tied from the bottom, with only his legs visible when divers recovered it from the canal.One of the divers, named Subhash, who helped recover the body, said the words "Jai Shri Shyam" were written on the man's hand.
