Man dies after falling from balcony at block of flats as two men arrested over ‘murder’

A MAN has died after falling from a balcony at a block of flats with cops arresting two men on suspicion of murder. Police scrambled to Salford, Greater Manchester, just after midnight on Saturday, after receiving reports that a man had plunged to the ground from a block of flats. He was rushed to hospital with life threatening injuries but he sadly passed away from his injuries. Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have now confirmed that a man earlier arrested on suspicion of attempted murder has now been arrested on suspicion of murder. Sign up for The Sun newsletter Thank you! A second man has also been arrested on suspicion of murder. Both suspects remain in police custody for questioning, confirmed cops. A Home Office Post Mortem is due to take place today. GMP confirmed that it had referred itself to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC). Officers had earlier contact with the parties involved in the horror, the force said. Chief Inspector Lee Gridley from GMP’s Salford district, said: “Firstly, our thoughts remain with the man’s family and friends as they grieve the death of their loved one.
