So everything points to an opening day win for Maresca and co, but Bournemouth are still in the midst of an incredible unbeaten run. They finished the season astonishingly unbeaten in their final 18 games under Andoni Iraola. Some eye-catching pre-season fixtures they’ve had too, winning 4-1, 5-2 and then 10-1 against St Pauli, Augsburg and then Genoa.
