Man, 52, dies after ‘being stabbed’ in popular seaside town in horror early hours attack – as suspect, 21, arrested

A MAN has tragically died following an alleged stabbing in a popular seaside spot as a 21-year-old is arrested. Police were called to reports of a man with a knife in Ramsgate in the early hours of Sunday morning. Two men, 48 and 52, were taken to a local hospital with injuries consistent with stab wounds. The 52-year-old sadly died despite the best efforts of emergency services. Sign up for The Sun newsletter Thank you! The second victim has since been released from hospital. A 21-year-old man has now been arrested and taken into custody. In a statement Kent Police said: “A 21-year-old local British man was arrested shortly after the incident and was taken into custody where he remains. Officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.” They have asked for anyone with information to get in touch on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/139262/26.
