A MAN has been found dead inside a home as police launch a murder probe and detain a 15-year-old schoolboy. Police scrambled to an address in Bolton, Greater Manchester, last month where they found the man, 50, with serious head and chest injuries. Greater Manchester Police has now launched a murder investigation after he was pronounced dead at the scene on June 30. The force said that the probe was launched following a post-mortem and the emergence of new information. Sign up for The Sun newsletter Thank you! A 15-year-old boy has been detained under the Mental Health Act and is due to be questioned. Officers believe that the incident is isolated and that there is no wider risk to the local community. Detective Chief Inspector Louise Edwards of the Major Incident Team, said: “Our thoughts remain firmly with the man’s family and friends. “Following new information coming to light regarding his death, we are now carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances surrounding the events of the day he died. “We’d like to thank members of the community for their patience and understanding as we carry out enquiries in and around the Gray Street area. “There is no information to suggest there is any wider risk to the public, and we are not seeking anyone else in relation to this incident.
