Man, 41, arrested after ‘indecent exposure and assault’ involving woman and child

A MAN has been arrested after an alleged indecent exposure and assault involving a woman and a child. The 41-year-old man was arrested yesterday after the incident in Leeds on Sunday and he remains in custody. The incident occurred at around 7.30pm near on York Road in the Killingbeck area. A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: “A man has been arrested over an indecent exposure and assault in Leeds. “The 41-year-old man was arrested this afternoon in relation to an incident involving a woman and child in York Road on Sunday, 30 August. “The man remains in custody and specialist officers from Leeds Safeguarding are carrying out enquiries and are continuing to support the victims. “We would like to thank everyone who assisted in sharing the appeal and who contacted us with information.” Elsewhere, officers from West Yorkshire Police arrested a man yesterday morning after an alleged indecent exposure on the canal towpath.
