A MAN who died after being hit by three cars while walking on the M56 has been pictured – as cops slam “incorrect rumours” about his death. Krisstoffer Henshall, 38, was fatally struck on the motorway near Runcorn, Cheshire, in the early hours of Monday. They discovered there had been a collision between Krisstoffer and three cars – a black Dacia Duster, a red Kia Niro and a black Ford Focus. Sign up for The Sun newsletter Thank you! Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the 38-year-old was sadly declared dead at the scene. Cheshire Police quickly launched a probe into his death and carried out enquiries at the scene, forcing the motorway to shut for several hours. And the force has since launched a further appeal for information, while Det Sgt Russ Sime slammed “incorrect rumours” about the tragedy. He said: “We are aware of a number of rumours circulating in relation to this collision, including reports that Kriss had been to Creamfields, which are simply incorrect. “I would urge people not to speculate. This is an extremely difficult time for his family and friends, and our priority is to establish what took place. “As part of the investigation we are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or believes they may have seen Kriss on the motorway prior to the collision, to get in touch. The M56 remained closed between Junction 12, for Runcorn, and Junction 14, for Chester services, before reopening at around 9.15am on Monday. National Highways had confirmed a diversion route has been put in place while emergency services were dealing with the incident.
