A woman in her 20s said she was approached by a man before being dragged into a doorway on Macklin Street, at around 5.20am on Saturday, August 22.The alleged victim managed to flee and submitted a report to the police shortly after.Christopher Rocha from Westminster was arrested and appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Saturday. He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Wood Green Crown Court on Friday, October 9. A Met Police spokesman said: 'A man has been arrested and charged in connection with the rape of a woman in Covent Garden.
