The Colombian superstar announced the arrival of his second child in an Instagram post on Tuesday (Sept. 15). “Orión Londoño Gómez. 🩵 09/14/26”, he wrote in the post, along with a heartwarming black-and-white photo showing him embracing his partner, Susana Gómez, while holding their newborn with excitement. Maluma and Gómez, who have been together since 2020, became parents for the first time in 2024 with the birth of their daughter, París. Shortly afterward, the 32-year-old singer shared an emotional carousel of photos with the caption, “My first 15 days as a Dad, this is the best thing I’ve ever experienced in my life.” On May 10, Mother’s Day, he melted hearts again by announcing they were expecting their second child with a photo of him and París kissing Gómez’s baby bump. Later, in an interview with Billboard at his estate in Medellín, he revealed they were expecting a boy and shared that they had kept the pregnancy a secret for five months. “I thought it’d be nice to enjoy a big part of the pregnancy without having to think about other things. Just being at home as a couple and savoring the moment,” he explained. “And now with this baby, especially knowing it’s a boy, I’m over the moon!” In Tuesday’s post, artists like Thalia, Greeicy and Laura Pausini were among the first to leave congratulatory messages. “Many blessings ❤️ how beautiful the four of you are,” wrote the Italian star, while others filled the comments section with heart emojis. Maluma, who released his seventh studio album, Loco X Volver, in May, is set to embark on a world tour in 2027-2028 — his first since the Don Juan Tour of 2023-2024. Maluma is one of the many Latin stars set for Billboard Latin Music Week 2026, which takes place in Miami from Oct. 19-22. The 37th edition of Latin Music Week includes a programming of exclusive artist conversations, business panels with key executives, its celebrated Billboard en Vivo showcases and countless networking opportunities.
