ADVERTISEMENT ADVERTISEMENT Masterpieces ranging from Mondrian to Warhol are among 200 artworks owned by Peter Simon, the British entrepreneur and founder of high-street fashion brand Monsoon. They include a 1978 Francis Bacon that is likely to be the most valuable painting for sale, with an estimate of between €15 and €19 million. It was painted seven years after the traumatic death of Bacon’s lover George Dyer. Other highlights expected to fetch millions include a Joan Miró from 1925 and an untitled William de Kooning artwork.
