Recent research from Datafolha reveals that trust in Brazil's police and justice system remains shockingly low among women facing violence. Only 17% of women surveyed said they had a lot of faith in the justice system to handle such cases, while 63% said they had little trust, and 19% reported no trust at all. This lack of confidence highlights a critical issue that underscores the urgent need for reforms to ensure better protection and justice for victims of gender-based violence.
