(Image by Phivolcs/Facebook) MANILA, Philippines – A magnitude 5.0 earthquake was recorded off Sarangani, Davao Occidental on Wednesday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said. Phivolcs said that this is an aftershock of the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck Sarangani last June 8 and the magnitude 6.5 earthquake that struck off Davao Occidental last June 26. It was tectonic in origin and had a depth of 10 km.
